Claiming and withdrawing

Rewards and principal live in separate vaults. When each can move, and what locks a position for a round.

two vaults, two actions

Rewards and principal never share an account. Claim moves settled rewards out of the token's emission vault into your token account. Withdraw returns principal from the stake vault. Neither action touches the other balance, and neither interrupts mining. §4.7

claiming

  1. 01

    settle

A claim first settles any round you submitted in that has since closed, crediting your pro-rata share of that round's budget. Shares truncate toward the vault, so a round can never pay out more than it reserved. §4.4

  2. 02

    transfer

The settled rewards move from the emission vault to your token account in the same transaction. The token page shows the exact amount on the claim button before you sign.

  3. 03

    keep mining

Claiming does not stop the solver or change your stake. Mining and claiming coexist; the only thing a claim consumes is the pending reward.

You have about 32 rounds to settle a share. Settlement happens on your next action against that token, so a miner acting every round always settles. Rounds older than the ring are forfeit and stay unmined in the vault. §4.5

withdrawing

Withdraw whenever you are not carrying weight in an unsettled round. Principal returns to your wallet from the stake vault after confirmation, and the token page's balance cells update from chain state on the next read.

If you submitted a proof in a round that has not settled yet, the whole position is locked until it does, which is one round length. Stop the solver or wait for the round to close, then withdraw. §4.3
